Prevo Peak Volcano is located on Simushir Island, Kurile Islands. The volcano contains a 450 x 600 m wide summit crater. Pyroclastic flows occurred during eruptions in 1760's.
A magnitude 7.8 earthquake hit 101 km SE of the volcano on 15th November 2006.
